For this assignment, we were tasked with creating a paper toy for a fictional company of our own design. The character had to be original and tailored to a specific target audience. I chose to focus on teens and young adults who enjoy cartoons and games, as this demographic offers a vast creative space and aligns with my own sources of inspiration.
To develop my concept, I created three different companies, each with its own mood board and description. After evaluating them, I selected one company to refine further. From there, I explored various sketches, ultimately choosing one concept to fully develop into a final paper toy design. This project allowed me to combine creativity with strategic design choices, making the process both challenging and rewarding. I chose my GHOUL-TASTIC concept!

Ghoul-tastic – A Haute Couture Brand with a Monstrous Twist
After gaining experience in the fashion industry, the vision for something truly unique took shape—fashion that empowers young adults to feel confident and bold in their own skin. Inspired by iconic villains and eerie legends like the Boogeyman, Wednesday Addams, Frankenstein, Cruella, and Dracula, their signature styles have been reimagined for the modern era. The result? Ghoul-tastic—a haute couture brand that blends dark, dramatic aesthetics with cutting-edge fashion.
To make the brand even more captivating, a mascot was envisioned—a stylish monster or villain donning these designs, offering a glimpse into the bold, fashion-forward world being created. Because in this world, fantastic is outdated—Ghoul-tastic is the future!
The target audience consists of young adults who are increasingly drawn to high fashion and designer wear. While haute couture remains a luxury, the dream of wearing it is universal. By channeling diverse styles and desires into each design, the brand delivers something fresh, daring, and unforgettable—fashion that lingers in the mind, just like the legendary creatures that inspired it.
